FAQs

Below are some questions commonly asked by foot power clients. If your question is not answered, contact the foot power clinic for assistance.

foot power consultations and products cannot be claimed on Medicare. However, most private health funds will cover the costs of foot power products. Unfortunately the foot power consultation cannot be claimed.

The level of private health insurance cover will determine exactly what can be claimed by each patient. Not all health funds require a referral but it may be a good idea to have one on file for potential claims.

A referral is not required for a foot power consultation. However in cases of complex problems, or where previous treatment or surgery has taken place, it is beneficial for your foot power practitioner to know the medical history of diagnosis. Referrals are also useful with health fund claims.

We are registered as providers with most major Australian health funds, providing a quality service to patients, and working to the highest medical grade footwear industry standards. A referral is usually recommended in relation to claiming back from health funds.
Our products are refundable by Private health funds.

weeks.
